COLLABORATION THURSDAYS FOR OCTOBER ARE THE 2ND, 9TH, 23RD, 30TH AND NOT THE 16TH

SENIORS Reminder to order your senior ring this FRIDAY September 26th during lunch outside ASB room with a $50 deposit and get a free cap gown and tassel from Jostens. 2 days only senior special. Excludes the stole and P-rings. Thank you Class of 2015.

PSAT Test will be WEDNESDAY, Oct 15 sign up with the ASB Window. LAST DAY to sign up is FRIDAY, Sept 26, 2014.

APEX has started after school in Computer Lab 21. Teachers are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:15 to 4:15. See your counselor about signing up for APEX today.

WANTED STUDENT DJ The football team is looking for an exciting DJ to play music at the games.

A CORBAN UNIVERSITY representative will be talking about this small, Christian, liberal arts college in Salem, Oregon, on Monday, September 29 during lunch. Come visit his table outside the College and Career Center.

GLOBAL TRADE ACADEMY We have a wonderful opportunity for 10-12 grade students to experience a unique opportunity of exploring careers in Global Trades and Logistics at Port of Hueneme. The classes will Start Oct. 7th and be held at the Port on Tues. and Thurs. from 3:30-5:00. You will need to provide your own transportation. Please see Mrs. Gunnels or Mrs. Voshell for an application. Only 5 students will be selected so please get your applications DUE by Monday, Sept. 29.

GO TO COLLEGE TUITION-FREE THEN GRADUATE AS AN OFFICER IN THE U.S. MILITARY and Attend the Service Academy Information Night Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 6:30 PM at Pacifica High School Cafeteria. Hear information about the US Naval Academy at Annapolis, the US Military Academy at West Point, the US Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, the US Coast Guard Academy and the US Merchant Marine Academy. This is your last chance this year to hear this information session.

LUNCH FORMS if a 2014-2015 meal application has not been submitted, meal benefits will terminate on 10-1-14. Please submit a new 2014-2015 meal application BEFORE THE TERMINATION DATE to allow for processing. If you have access to the internet, you may go online to the Oxnard Union High School District Website to apply.

UC VIRTUAL COLLEGE FAIR On Thursday, Oct. 2, all students should log into www.collegeweeklive.com to hear information from representatives at seven campuses of the University of California. You can interact directly during the live sessions from 9 AM-7 PM, or view recorded sessions offered earlier in the day.

WRESTLING Mandatory Meeting Tuesday, October 7th for all returning and interested players in room T-4 during lunch. Any fall athletes also interested must attend.

PHOTO CLUB meeting EVERY Monday during lunch in room 74. Photo Club, see you there. Bring your lunch!

LIBRARY BOOKS remember to RENEW OR RETURN your library books. Library staff is here to assist you beginning at 7am! Students who fail to return overdue books will be receiving phone calls home. Don’t delay to return them now.

SPARTAN CAFETERIA Join us for the Spart-a-que every Tuesday & Thursday on the patio! Thursday is “Street Taco” day on the patio. Condiments include diced onion, cilantro & fresh salsa.

ESPARTANOS: The Latin American Student Organization or LASO meets EVERY Wednesday at 12:25 in Room 22.

CAMARILLO LIBRARY Want to put your brain in gear come join us for makerspace or an evening of construction. Team of 2 persons recommended. We meet EVERY third Thursday of the month from 6-8pm in the young adult area at the Camarillo Library. See you there.

TEMPORARY JOB OFFER: SENIORS who are interested in working as a Poll worker, at Polling Stations for the Nov. 4 elections, are invited to submit an application. You will earn $110 for training and work on Election Day. Pick up information and an application in the College and Career Center.

STUDENTS with overdue textbooks please return ASAP!!! Textbooks can be returned daily between the hours of 7:00am and 3:30pm, the textbook room is also open, for your convenience, during nutrition and lunch. Thank you to all the students who have been returning overdue materials, your cooperation is much appreciated.
