ATTENTION SENIORS If you are going to request any LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION for a scholarship or college application you need to make sure to provide your teacher and counselor with a copy of your Brag Sheet. If you don’t have a brag sheet you can find the template on the NAVIACE site under “My Planner” and “tasks assign to me”. UC AND CSU ADMISSIONS APPLICATIONS for SENIORS the DEADLINE IS November 30th, and Common App applications for some schools. The school will be closed from November 24 until December 1, no one will be available to help students with this important process. November 21st is the last day counselors will be available to submit any documents before the November 30th deadline. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Sanchez.

LOCAL FARM-TO-FORK PROJECT Fresh and tantalizing, build-to-order salad bar will be offered in the student cafeteria November 17 to 21. Fresh, whole produce from local farms will be prepared for the “Farm-to-Fork” project. Students participating in the fresh salad bar will also receive 1-FREE smoothie coupon which they can redeem after school at the ASB office. Come support your local Oxnard farms!! COLLEGE APPLICATION WORKSHOP Seniors come for assistance with any type of the college applications and or personal statements in room 34 during lunch the following three Tuesdays, Oct, 28, Nov. 2nd and NOV. 18TH. or in the school library from 8am to 12 pm the next three Saturdays, Nov 1st, 15th, and 22nd. Students MUST SIGN UP if you plan to attend. Please sign up in the College and the career center with Mrs. Sanchez.
STUDENTS ATTENDING COMMUNITY COLLEGE Come and join us for the following workshops to learn about the process and explanations to become a college student during lunch in room 26 Wednesday, Nov12 (What is community College?) and Friday, Nov 14 (steps to Enroll).
COMMUNITY COLLEGE NIGHT students and for parents come and learn about the different programs and pathways to earn a community college certificate, degree or transfer. Students will receive assistance in the process of how to complete the community college application on Thursday, Nov 13 from 6-7:30 pm in library.

ASVAB CAREER ASSESSMENT for JUNIORS AND SENIORS the test will be given on Wednesday, December 3 in the Gym at RMHS. This test will assess your knowledge and personality, and then suggest careers you might wish to pursue after high school. A permission slip must be signed by each of your morning teachers and your parents. Pick up a permission slip and return no later than Wednesday, Nov. 19in the College and Career Center (C&CC) today.
ATTENDANCE If absent, you only have 3 days to clear an absence. Come to the Attendance window before classes begin, during nutrition, lunch or after school.
STUDENTS with overdue TEXTBOOKS please return ASAP!!! Textbooks can be returned daily between the hours of 7:00am and 3:30pm, the textbook room is also open, for your convenience, during nutrition and lunch.
