Rio Mesa High School opened its doors in 1965. Nestled among the strawberry fields of the Oxnard plain, it serves about 2,300 students from the communities of Camarillo, Oxnard, El Rio and Somis. Rio Mesa is a place to learn, teach, and interact with mutual respect. We have a statement that is a long standing tradition among our school community: Once a Spartan, always a Spartan
