Performing Arts: (Music)
The Performing Arts Department at Rio Mesa High School delights students and visitors alike with performances in Marching Band, Concert Choir and Jazz Ensemble.

Visual Arts:
The Visual Arts departments at Rio Mesa implements a rigorous and consistent curriculum for all students based on the California Visual and Performing Arts standards. Parents are informed of student progress through Parent-Teacher conferences, i-Grade, progress reports and report cards. Well planned and effective classroom programs are the standard at Rio Mesa. All courses will prepare students for higher education and courses meet entrance requirements for the California University system. Considerable funding has been spent to supplement Visual Arts over the last two years.
