Coach Deardoff Bio Pic

Tod Deardorff has been the coach of the Rio Mesa Girls Golf team since 2011.  The team has advanced to either CIF Individuals or CIF Team competition each year since he began coaching the team.  In 2015, the team went to both competitions and also won the Pacific View League title.

Coach Deardorff is a Rio Mesa graduate from 1983, and attended UCSB.  After completing his degree, he returned to the OUHSD in 1994.  After Coach Radford retired in 2011, Coach Deardorff stated in his interview that he “always wanted to come back and coach for his old high school.”  Coach Radford’s tenure lasted almost 30 years as head coach.   Coach Deardorff would like to follow in that tradition also.
