STAFF NEWS

Great visit today from original Spartan staff -Ms. June Frye – 1st cafeteria manager of RM -served the district for 33 years. Cool to see her remember familiar places on campus including her old office where she said “I spent hundreds of hours there” & at the counter w/many kids.

CARING CLOSET

Rio Mesa’s Caring Closet once again demonstrated that our Spartans care!  Room 75 was turned into a “back to school” store for 2 days!! We had our second free store for students who are in need.   Many donations were brand new and still had tags on them.  I asked for donations last June and our Spartan family answered with full force.  We were able to give gently used or brand new clothes to students who came by.    This was successful because our staff volunteered their time during their prep and after school to keep it open all day.
