Sophia Avila, Class of 2021 and current CSUCI student, practicing for the big stage.
Former Rio Mesa IB Diploma student, Sophia Avila, was selected to perform at the world-renown Carnegie Hall. This current CSUCI student and daughter of our very own Mrs. Renteria was honored to continue her artistic brilliance on such a large stage. While attending Rio Mesa, she was leader of our Ballet Folklorico dance troupe, a member of our Drama class and club and sang the Alma Mater and National Anthem at the Class of 2021's three graduation ceremonies.
