Right before Spring break CIF released their team Academic Award winners and honorable mention winners. Rio Mesa had 14 athletic team honorable mentions along with the CIF Southern Section large school Academic Champion. That was accomplished by our girls volleyball program. ( See Attached Picture) All of this is a huge accomplishment as our Section of CIF is the largest in the state with 562 member schools. The attached pictures was shared all over our social media but wanted to share with all of you.
The girls volleyball team will be honored on April 24 at Angel Stadium in a pregame ceremony before that night's Angel game. Congratulations to all of our athletes and coaches.
