English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)

The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) at Rio Mesa High School is a dedicated group of parents, staff, and community members who collaborate to support the success of our English Learner (EL) students. ELAC provides a platform for parents to voice their perspectives, learn about school programs, and participate in the decision-making process that impacts their children’s education.  

Through ELAC, families gain valuable insights into academic resources, language development programs, and strategies to support student achievement. This committee plays a vital role in ensuring that the needs of English Learners are met and that they are equipped to excel in their academic and personal growth.
